1. THE HONDA RUGBY CLUB 

1.1. By registering as a Honda Rugby Club Member, you are agreeing to be entered into a monthly prize draw (the “Prize Draw”) with the first Prize Draw commencing on the 16th March 2023.

1.2. These Terms and Conditions apply to all Honda Rugby Club Prize Draws with each Prize Draw taking place on the 16th of each calendar month (the “Drawing Date”) until further notice

1.3. Details of each month’s prize, including terms and conditions relating to that month’s draw, shall be published on www.thehondarugbyclub.com from the 16th of the preceding month.

2. THE PRIZES

2.1. The prize is one England Red Roses team Rugby Official signed Jersey & one England Red Roses replica signed rugby ball. The ball and the shirt are hand signed by the team who have played in the 2024 Guinness Women’s Six Nations Series.

2.2. The prize will be sent by Royal Mail recorded delivery to the address provided by the winner.

2.3. The Honda Rugby Club Community Prize for May 2024, for the winning Rugby Union Club, shall be five bags (50 balls in total) of Honda branded, Gilbert Size 5 rugby training balls, to be delivered to the winning club by 30th August 2024.

2.4. Prize specification may be subject to change. If any prize is unavailable the substitute prize shall be of equal or higher value. There is no cash alternative. The prize is not negotiable or transferable.

2.5. The winner shall be drawn following the process outlined in the Honda Rugby Club terms and conditions.

3. HOW TO ENTER

3.1. The monthly Prize Draw competition will be open to all registered ‘Honda Rugby Club’ members. All registered members will automatically be entered into the monthly Prize Draw.

3.2. You can only register as a Honda Rugby Club member by entering your title, full name and email address and phone number at www.thehondarugbyclub.com. If you have any questions about how to enter or in connection with the Prize Draw, please e-mail us at huk.sponsorship@honda-eu.com.

3.3. New registrations for the Honda Rugby Club must be completed by midnight on the 15th of the month, to be entered into that month’s prize draw.

3.4. Members can update their name and contact details by sending an email to consentuk@honda-eu.com. Honda Rugby Club Members can cancel their membership by sending an email to consentuk@honda-eu.com. Members who unsubscribe from The Honda Rugby Club will not be entered into the Prize Draw.

3.5. The winning entry will be randomly selected, and the winner will be notified by the Promoter.

3.6. The Promoter shall not be liable for Honda Rugby Club registrations that are misspelt or incorrect, lost, mislaid, damaged or delayed in transit, regardless of cause, including, for example, as a result of any equipment failure, technical malfunction, systems, satellite, network, server, computer hardware or software failure of any kind.

4. ELIGIBILITY

4.1. The Prize Draw is open to residents of the UK aged 18 years or over, except for (a) to (c) below:
 (a) employees, of the Promoter or its holding or subsidiary companies;
 (b) employees of agents or suppliers of the Promoter or its holding or subsidiary companies, who are professionally connected with the Prize Draw or its administration; or
 (c) members of the immediate families or households of (a) and (b) above.

4.2. The Promoter will not accept ‘Honda Rugby Club’ registrations that are:
 (a) automatically generated by computer;
 (b) completed by third parties or in bulk;
 (c) illegible, have been altered, reconstructed, forged or tampered with; or
 (d) incomplete.

4.3. There is a limit of one entry per person. Entries on behalf of another person will not be accepted and joint submissions are not allowed. No purchase is necessary.

4.4. The Promoter may require proof that you are eligible to enter the Prize Draw.

4.5. The Promoter reserves the right to exclude from the Prize Draw any entrant, who in the Promoter’s sole discretion, has breached these terms and conditions or whose conduct is contrary to the spirit or intention of the Prize Draw.

4.6. By entering the Prize Draw, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

5. WINNERS

5.1. The winner shall be drawn on the 16th of each month, randomly selected from all eligible entrants as of midnight on the 15th of that month. The decision of the Promoter is final and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into.

5.2. The Promoter will make all reasonable efforts to contact the Winner as soon as practicable after the Drawing Date, using the telephone number or email address provided with the Prize Draw entry. The Promoter may require further information from the Winner to be able to provide the prize, and the Winner is therefore required to acknowledge the notification before the prize can be awarded. If the prize remains unawarded after reasonable efforts have been made to contact the Winner, the Promoter reserves the right to award the prize to a replacement Winner, selected in the same way as the original winner.

5.3. The prize may not be claimed by a third party on your behalf and the Promoter does not accept any responsibility if you are not able to take up the prize.

5.4. Honda Rugby Club members also have the opportunity to show their support for a nominated Rugby Union Club. Upon registering, Honda Rugby Club members can select a Rugby Union Club that they would like to have a chance of winning a range of Honda Rugby Club Community Prizes.

5.5. One Rugby Union Club can be nominated per registration. Upon receiving 10 nominations, a Rugby Union Club shall be entered into a monthly club prize draw. One qualifying Rugby Union Club shall also be drawn on the 16th of each month to receive that month’s Honda Rugby Club Community Prize. Details of each month’s Honda Rugby Club Community Prize shall be published on www.thehondarugbyclub.com from time to time.

5.6. The Honda Rugby Club Community Prize draw will follow the Honda Rugby Club prize draw terms and conditions set out above. If a Rugby Union Club declines the prize, the Promoter reserves the right to award the prize to a replacement winning Rugby Union Club, selected in the same way as the original winner.

6. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

6.1. The Promoter accepts no liability for any loss, damage, injury or disappointment suffered by any entrant resulting from entering this Prize Draw or by the entrant's acceptance of any prize, or any damage to any entrant's or other person's computer or mobile phone equipment as a consequence of entering or downloading any material relating to this Prize Draw. Nothing shall exclude the Promoter's liability for death or personal injury resulting from its negligence.

7. DATA PROTECTION AND PUBLICITY

7.1. Unless you expressly agree otherwise, by indicating your preference for receiving further communications from Honda, the Promoter will only process your personal information as necessary for the purpose of administering the Prize Draw, and in accordance with the Honda Privacy Policy and the Honda privacy notice set out in the Schedule to these terms and conditions (“ Honda Prize Draw Privacy Notice ”).

7.2. The Honda Prize Draw Privacy Notice explains how and why the Promoter processes your personal data when you participate in the Prize Draw. The Honda Prize Draw Privacy Notice also describes your data protection rights in relation to the processing activities described in this clause, and how long we will retain your data. 7.3. The Promoter will collect the following personal data:
 (i) title, first name, last name, email address and telephone number. Winners may be required to provide their home address or a suitable delivery address.

7.4. The Promoter will process this personal data for the following legitimate interests:
 (i) to check and ensure that you are eligible to participate in the Prize Draw; and
 (ii) contact you if you have won; and
 (iii) subject to Clause 7.5, to publish the surname and county of residence of the Winner.

7.5 The Winner may request that their details are withheld from publication by emailing huk.sponsorship@honda-eu.com. Winner’s details shall be retained for a period of 12 months for verification purposes and provided to the Advertising Standards Authority if required.

8. GENERAL

8.1. The decision of the Promoter is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.

8.2. The Promoter is entitled to amend these terms and conditions at any time and upon giving notice, and reserves the right to hold void, suspend, cancel, or amend the Prize Draw if, in the Promoter’s opinion, it becomes necessary to do so.

8.3. These terms and conditions shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

This Prize Draw Privacy Notice is provided by Honda Motor Europe Limited ("Honda", "we", "us", or "our"), whose registered office is at Cain Road, Binfield, Bracknell, RG12 1HL, in our capacity as organiser of the Prize Draw (“Prize Draw”) set out in the above terms and conditions ("Prize Draw T&Cs"). We are a 'controller' for the purposes of the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 and the Data Protection Act 2018 (collectively the "Data Protection Laws"). We understand that the security of your personal data is extremely important and we are committed to respecting your privacy and safeguarding your personal data. This Prize Draw Privacy Notice, together with our main Privacy Policy (which can be found at https://www.honda.co.uk/privacy.html containing more information about how we process your personal data and your rights under the Data Protection Laws), applies to you if you participate in our Prize Draw.

The details of our processing of your personal data for the Prize Draw are as below:

• We collect and process your title, full name and email address in order to register your entry in our Prize Draw.

• We are permitted to process your personal data on the basis that it is necessary for our performance of the contract you have agreed to enter with us (i.e. the Prize Draw T&Cs). If you do not provide your information to us, we will not be able to register your entry in our Prize Draw.

• If you are selected as the winner of the Prize Draw, we will contact you to notify you of this, ask you to confirm acceptance of the prize and verify your eligibility (e.g. confirm that you are over 18 years old) in line with our Prize Draw T&Cs. After completing this process, we require the location of your home address (city or county) to provide you with the Prize and because we are obliged to make the winner's name and location (city or county) available on our website https://www.honda.co.uk and/or to people requesting that information in accordance with the Prize Draw T&Cs and to comply with the requirements under the UK Code of Non-broadcast Advertising and Direct & Promotional Marketing (the "CAP Code"). As provided in the CAP Code, the winner can object to us publishing or making available the name or reduce the amount of information published or made available. In order to contact us on this, please email us huk.customer.database.manager@honda-eu.com. Please note that this does not affect our obligation to provide the relevant information and the winning entry to the Advertising Standards Authority, the UK's regulator of advertising, if required to do so.

• If you are not selected as the winner of the Prize Draw, we will delete your personal data within the period of one month following the completion of delivery of the prize to the winner (or if there are any relevant complaints or issues relating to the Prize Draw and if later, promptly following the resolution of those complaints or issues). If you are the winner of the Prize Draw, we will retain your personal data until 12 months after the completion of delivery of the prize and any related publicity activities. After this date your personal data will be deleted.

• We also use external providers that process your personal data for this Prize Draw as part of the services which they provide to us. This may include (for example) Honda’s marketing agency that runs the prize draw, a Honda dealer, or a courier or logistics company for despatch of the prizes. We take steps to ensure that our service providers process your data in accordance with the Data Protection Laws, only use it in accordance with our contract with them and keep it secure. • We do not transfer your personal data outside the UK and the European Economic Area.

• We strive to implement appropriate technical and organisational measures in order to protect your personal data against accidental or unlawful destruction, accidental loss or alteration, unauthorised disclosure or access and any other unlawful forms of processing. We aim to ensure that the level of security and the measures adopted to protect your personal data are appropriate for the risks presented by the nature and use of your personal data. We follow recognised industry practices for protecting our IT environment and physical facilities.
